Letter from Iain Duncan Smith:ATOS/DWP are doing a great job

We are reposting this here because we have had many requests since the DPAC website is down for time being.

We’ve been passed a letter from Iain Duncan Smith (IDS) to an individual’s local MP.  That individual has asked us to publish the letter because surprise, surprise IDS  is defending Atos and says they are doing a great job- we know that the reality is very different. We know the misery and distress that Atos is causing and we know that 72 deaths a week are being attribued to WCA process from the DWPs own figures’.

To be fair, in no way does the letter state that he thinks or says that Atos or the DWP are doing a fantastic job anyway, and I despise them as much as the next man for what they’re doing. This kind of overhyped misinformation is not going to help the cause. IDS stated the complaints procedure to enter into, that’s pretty much it. In fact the letter was in no way opinionated or emotive and gives away no clue of his position on the misgivings of the whole contract and the actions of Atos. We need better than this to wave in the faces of the enemy, sorry.

No and Nor does it answer the question asked to him as to why the Atos Invite letter clearly states if you have medical evidence you wish us to read please bring these with you and when you do they don’t read them that was my question to IDS

Sorry Steve you don’t have a clue you have missed point totally go back to bed and wake up again the argument is that IDS has been asked questions which he won’t answer
